Care:

Plain Leather: Apply a thin layer of leather balm and once it’s dry, gently brush to keep the finish of the leather always in good conditions. Opt for softer hog bristles to make sure you don’t damage your sneakers. A leather protector spray is also an option to consider.

Suede: Use a brush to gently remove any dirt or dust. Brush in the direction of the fabric’s grain to avoid damaging it. Dry stains can be removed by using a white or brown gum eraser. If it doesn't work we advise you to visit your local cobbler and get additional advice.

Nubuck: Nubuck cloths are the best option to remove dirt and shiny spots. Wipe in several directions using circular motions and make sure you cover the entire nap area.

Rubber Soles: Clean the dirt with a dampened cloth and carefully soak the sole in a mixture of water and dishwashing soap. Make sure you don’t soak the upper part! Use a toothbrush with the mixture to scrub your soles. Once it’s done, dry the sneakers using a cloth.

|section-title|Masoma|section-title|
|section-left|My name is Masoma Nawrozi, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Afghanistan. I was born in Jaguri, in the Ghazni district, where I spent my early years running after a ball in the dusty streets. I remember the day my father gave me my first ball — we played so much that it burst. There were no fields, just hard ground and two stones as goalposts. But to me, that was the whole world.
Later, we moved to Kabul so that my sisters and I could have more opportunities. I trained with a girls’ team, learned the rules, played on concrete pitches and, in 2021, I was selected to represent my country in the Under-15 Asian Cup. It was a proud moment, built on effort, courage, and faith. Everything changed on 15 August 2021, when the Taliban reached Kabul. In an instant, women lost basic rights: to study, to work, to play sport. Dreams were shut inside the house.
We fled and arrived in Fundão, Portugal, full of hope and with a whole life to rebuild. Through the Matriz project, I started playing football again — for the first time in a mixed team, Real Matriz, alongside boys, something unthinkable in my country. At first, I was afraid, but soon I discovered the freedom of scoring goals, running, laughing, and being myself again.
Taking part in the DiVERGE programme let me reclaim my freedom through colourful sneakers that tell my journey from past limits to dreaming freely. |section-left||section-right|A young woman wearing Diverge sneakers, promoting social impact and custom shoes through the imagine project.|section-right|
